HoYoverse’s New IP Zenless Zone Zero Gets its First Trailer

Today, as they promised, Genshin Impact’s developers HoYoverse officially revealed the first trailer for their upcoming action RPG Zenless Zone Zero, which not only presents players to the game’s world but also introduces some of its mechanics, as well as its main cast.

Together with the reveal of the game’s first trailer, HoYoverse also revealed that they have started the recruitment for the game’s upcoming closed beta test, or Tuning Test, where players will be able to get a feel of the new title as the developers continue to work on it. With that said, to celebrate the release of the game’s first trailer as well as the start of the recruitment period for the closed beta, HoYoverse also announced a series of events, one on Twitter and two on HoYolab.

The Twitter event, Z·Z·Z Beta Giveaway, is set to run from May 13 to May 23, 2022. To participate in the event fans only need to follow the game’s Twitter account and retweet the Tweet below. According to HoYoverse, the event will reward 20 participants with Tuning Test qualifications, 6 with Alienware AW510H Headsets, and one lucky winner with an Alienware x15 gaming notebook.

The game’s Hoyoverse exclusive events are both set to also run from May 13 to May 23, 2022. The first one, Type Ⅱ Bonus Event, is set to feature, among its rewards, 50 Closed Beta Qualifications, and 50 Random Character Stands. To take part in the event, fans need to first follow the game on HoyoLab and then reply to this post as instructed. The second Hoyolab event, on the other hand, will offer fans not only 50 Closed Beta Qualifications but also 50 Bangboo Pillows. You can check out how to take part in the event here.

As we said above, Zenless Zone Zero will be released at a later date and will be available, according to its closed beta FAQ, for both PCs and mobile devices initially. It’s still unknown if the title will come to consoles. You can check out more on the game on its official site.
